If you love Amarok and have a keyboard with multimedia keys that you'd like to use to control Amarok under Ubuntu (Gnome), here are a few things you should look at:
- System -> Preferences -> Keyboard
- Click on layout tab
- Make sure the correct keyboard is configured.
- Load up Amarok and go to settings -> Configure global Shortcuts
- Go to "Configure global shortcuts in Amarok" and change the keys to whatever you want.
- Make sure that none of the shortcuts in Amarok are the same as:
System->Preferences->Keyboard Shortcuts (because those won't work with Amarok)
